Listening – Day 31

Happy Monday, everyone! Happy to be alive!

This is my last week from the Listening series. I wanted this to go as long as the Kindness Challenge goes, because I believe that music can change us and some of you agree with me. Thank you for visiting and listening with me these past…6 weeks? A long time. Thank you for you kind words and appreciation, I hope you’ll enjoy these 5 last recommendations.

Today: perseverance.

  1. I haven’t heard this song for so long! Happy I clicked ‘play’.
Btw I thought of you this weekend, I finally watched Zootopia πŸ™‚
PS: I like the new layout of your blog, I used to have this theme before the one I got now.

    1. Oh, yay! Assuming that you already saw Kung Fu Panda 3, I’ll recommend Eddie the Eagle – it’s so funny and so inspirational…you gotta see it.
Thank you, my new layout feels a little more serious, a little less fairytale now. πŸ™‚

  2. I think I was 3 years old the first time my mother played a recording (probably a 78) of Ravel’s Bolero for my older sister and me. The build-up to fever pitch intensity was a little frightening. Maybe even insane. But she continued to share it with us over the years, and it found its way into the fabric of my world in movies and concerts and Olympic ice skating competitions till it became a familiar, exuberant friend. Now I relish its tension and triumph. I smile all the way through it. Thanks for choosing this one, Ioana! πŸ˜€
