TAKE FIVE – Diana Krall

It’s the first Tuesday of the month so that means today’s TAKE FIVE jazz break coincides with my monthly Contemporary Jazz Link.

I chose Diana Krall and Cry Me a River (Tuesdays will be Tuesdays, no point in fighting it). She is such an awesome piano player and musician all together – I love the way she’s representing women in this industry, a true professional.

Meet me tomorrow. πŸ˜€

  1. I found you on Blogger’s Meet up. Whenever I post, I always have a song for the day. I really am into every type of music, but I really love Musical Theater. The oldest is/was a professional musician (piano) and he loved, loved, loved Jazz. I’ll have to follow and see what’s up. Blessings ❀ Oh and two of my guys are professional Ballet dancer's so I spent a lot of time in the theater…

    1. Thank you!!! Seems like I was already following you, also from the Bloggers Meetup. I love musicals too, it’s the better option to opera :D. I hope you’ll enjoy the April jazz breaks, I’ll check your suggestions too. πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you, I wasn’t sure about it at first, thinking it would bring people down, but I just have to face the fact that a lot of jazz standards will emanate a sense of nostalgia…I’ll do my best to keep a balance though πŸ˜€
