Busy Schedule

Kindergarten. A 5 year-old boy at the piano class, studying on a piece for a piano competition. Nothing was going right. He kept making mistake after mistake and when he would manage to correct one of them, another would pop to replace it…it was harsh!

Finally, he gets it right. He was so happy he finally got it right.

Me: Now play it again!

Him: But I got it right…why do I have to play it again? (Being afraid that he won’t be able to achieve that miracle again.)

Me: Because we have to make sure you’ll stick to the flawless interpretation…because you see…even if you play it a thousand times, you should get it right every single time.

Him: …a thousand times? …but Miss, I can’t play this a thousand times. I’ve got Mindlab later.
